The Automatic Wheel-Blocking System (AWB) provides reliable protection against accidents and damage at the loading site by preventing lorries from rolling or creeping away during loading and unloading.

Why It’s Needed

At busy loading bays, forklifts constantly brake and accelerate, which can cause docked lorries to shift slightly. If the dock leveller lip is no longer securely supported on the vehicle bed, there is a risk of serious injury and property damage. The AWB eliminates this risk by automatically securing the vehicle’s wheel during the loading process.

How It Works

As soon as a lorry is correctly positioned, the driver can activate the system from inside the building at the touch of a button.

A blocking arm automatically moves into position, pressing securely against the rear wheel.

A traffic light system provides clear communication with the driver: red during loading, green when it is safe to depart.

The system’s working range of 2825 mm and blocking height of 300 mm make it suitable for all lorry types without interfering with mudguards or cladding.
